IN OMENANA, IT IS ODOZIAKU, NOT ORIAKU

If you heard ori-aku( enjoyer of wealth), I hope you also heard odozi-aku( protector/ builder of wealth). Our culture Omenana was far too advanced to make our women 'housewives', i.e., just ori-aku, that irresponsible men can abuse, and starve of money. If you didn't hear about odozi-aku you heard about 'nwanyi Nnewi', i.e, the bike, that our women used to ride to Nkwo Nnewi, to do their businesses. If ori-aku isn't just a jocular title, it's of foreign origins. I don't know when an Igbo woman willingly chose to be idle.
Men, our fathers encouraged our mothers to grow rich. Let's emulate them!
