We were almost destroyed. Why? We stopped struggling to adhere to Omenana which is the only path that could keep us connected to our King, Father, God-CHI UKWU! Were our oppressors better than us? No they were worse than us, but they could be excused because they were not with CHI UKWU at Mt Sinai as we were. So they didn't know better. 

When we chose to become degraded we had to be corrected. And we were corrected.

Our culture Omenana was far too advanced to make our women ' housewives', i.e., just ori-aku, that irresponsible men can abuse, and starve of money.
