From .. to 1966 Igbos thought that every corner of British constructed Nigeria was home. By May of 1966 Igbos were forced to flee to what was their real home, with nothing, some with major wounds, and with hundreds of thousands murdered.

By 1970 Igbos went back to the same places they were expelled from.  Necessary, because they had to earn a living, but is it necessary for Igbos who became rich through hardwork, and luck, to build the most expensive residential buildings in the very lands they were expelled from?

To me no matter the wealth of an Igbo outside Igboland, a 4-5-6 bedroom bungalow will suffice. I don't know why our people still don't see the obvious. No native people are happy to see foreigners living like kings while they are poor in their own land. Maybe Igbos don't know that in Nigeria they are foreigners outside Igboland. The fact is more important than the law in societies that the law is observed in the breach.
