IGBO AND NIGERIAN HISTORY- Things that you are not taught in the universities

If an Igbo is thinking that the Nigerian problem is exclusively behind the Igbo problem the Igbo needs to go to history.
Igbos, our nation had begun to decline before the British converted us to Nigerians. They were able to do this because we had started to become watered down. If we were still in the form we were before some turncoat Igbos got us into decline by participating in the Trans Atlantic Slave trade, Britain would have conquered every inch of the territory that became Nigeria without stepping into Igboland. But we strayed so what happened was that Britain conquered, marched and counter marched through every inch of Igboland, while it formed alliances with some of the other peoples that it turned into and later rewarded with Nigeria. When people talk about colonialism they fail to note that all the colonized groups were not treated identically.
Nigeria is only a complication of an already existing problem.
I'm looking at history of this nature because the decline can only continue unless Igbos know what is behind it, and take corrective action.
Every African ethnic group (nation) in the line of the trade participated in human trafficking during the TAST, I must state, and also declare that every Igbo could and should have stayed away from that crime of crimes. Every person was craving for honors from Nigeria. And what did Chinua Achebe do? He flung the honor back into Obasanjo's oily face.
