OMENALA AND THE IGBO SOCIETY

When a society begins to place hierarchy, Social strata and class amongst its members, inequality sets in. I mean when some members of the society begins to see themselves as upper class and their kindred as of a lower status. This is why Chiukwu frowns at the idea of Kingship, No Israelite is above or king over his brother. Kingship was alien to Israel's society until latter times as a result of their rebellion they wanted to assimilate, they wanted to be like their neighbours. The former Igbo society i mean the precolonial one was purely torah driven she had a strong disdain for kingship this is even reflected in the names we bear Eze bu iro(kingship is enmity) There is even a general Igbo slogan Igbo ewegi Eze (Igbo's do not have kings). Wow Igbo's are Israel, the evidence are so glaring. I'm marveled at the pictures unfolding. An ideal society is an egalitarian one void of social distinctions with equity and justice. Chiukwu is disgusted with the idea Social class we are all equal, we are his children and none is more important than the other. Equity, Justice and fairness is Chiukwus motto. Igbos are brothers and sisters with one father and one King Chiukwu.
