WHY THE IGBO IS RE-MAINSTREAMING IGBO POLYGAMY

Omenala  adherents male and female must live holy lives.
CHI UKWU's law is that every Igbo woman of matured age must be in marriage and not in her father's house after maturity.
The situation is that a disproportionate Percentage of Igbo women are with out husbands and will never find husbands. The statistics available to the omenala restoration movement is that for every Igbo man there are six Igbo women seeking a husband. Some Igbo families have four daughters over 40yrs with no hope of ever getting husbands.
The Igbo was involved in a genocide that depleted our males. Migration of mainly Igbo males to all over the world further depleted the Igbo males. A backwater economy in Ala Igbo sustained by anti Igbo legislative frameworks imposed on the Igbo post 1970 Igbo genocide by Igbophobes have further reduced the number of Igbo males with capacity for marriage.
The consequences of all these on the Igbo women folk coupled with a strict enforcement of a monogamy system  by a foreign religion that is definitely anti- Igbo and wouldn't mind if the Igbo race disappears all together is gruesome.
Today in almost every Igbo family, you have one or more Igbo women above 40 years remaining in their fathers' home with out hope of ever marrying, something that was considered ARU by the Igbo  just 30 years ago.
Such women are left to defile Ala Igbo as prostitutes, mistresses and concubines to the same Igbo men they should be married to as second, third or fourth wives with all the benefits- children/ husbands to take care of their old age and more. These Igbo women are edged on by Igbophobes masquerading as religions with out regard to the fact that the country in which the Igbo finds itself is neither a welfare state nor a state committed to the benefit of the Igbo.
What is more? The Igbo population is rapidly declining with no hope of replacement. We know  that the survival of the Igbo as a race is not on the agenda of those promoting strict monogamy without even any biblical basis. There is no where in the Torah ( Hebrew Bible) where Igbo polygamy is condemned. Even the European ( Roman) document known as the new testament contains no provision condemning Polygamy. All the great men of CHI UKWU: Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Solomon were all Igbo polygamists.
The fate of the Igbo woman in terms of marriage is so severe that the Igbo rich is resorting to use of wealth to lure Igbo men to marry their daughters leaving the Igbo poor, high and dry with severe consequences on Igbo social cohesion.
The question the Igbo woman who is opposed to Igbo polygamy should ask her self is : what will be the fate of my daughters and granddaughters when they are due for marriage? Will you make enough money to bribe young Igbo men to marry your daughters and granddaughters or would you have them stay in their fathers house for ever? Do you want to live and enjoy this world alone? You are having your own children taking care of you in your old age, who will take care of your daughters/ grand daughters in their old age?
Why should the Igbo be rigmaroling about a problem that has clear solutions: the remainstreaming of Igbo polygamy so that every Igbo woman will be guaranteed a quality Igbo husband.
The omenala restoration movement is not driven by semantics or populism but by facts on the ground and the application of CHI UKWU's laws, ordinances, statutes and commandments to solve Igbo existential problems.
Omenala solutions to the Igbo problem of marriage is re-mainstreaming of Igbo polygamy for those who can afford it.
The remainstreaming of Igbo polygamy will ensure that every Igbo woman has a quality Igbo husband and apart from growing Igbo GDP, will also stabilize Igbo marriages and trend back Igbo divorce rates to zero-hugging levels, the level it was before'white'Britain colonized Ala Igbo.
