MEET THE KING OF THE IGBO, CHI UKWU.

Every people have a king that is overlord to them. That king is supreme to them and deserves total worship. The Igbo have only one King. He is supreme and overlord of all Igbo. He is the supreme monarch of the Igbo. His name is CHI UKWU and all Igbo owe allegiance to only CHI UKWU. He is the supreme lord. He is not human. He has no father, no mother, no brothers, no sisters, no children, no compatriots. He has no image. CHI UKWU is one and only and sovereign of the universe. CHI UKWU is the only one to whom the appellation, Eze or Igwe refers to. Only CHI UKWU is Eze or Igwe to the Igbo. The Igbo have other appellations to glorify CHI UKWU: Olisaburuwa, Olisabinigwe, Oseburuwa, Amaamaamachamacha, Ofutaobe etc. The Igbo attribute all glory to CHI UKWU and worship only him as G-D. The Igbo attribute their creation and survival to only their one and only King, CHI UKWU.
