The Igbo community in Lagos today organized the Ilo mmuo feast ( Leviticus 10: 14 and 15) . The well attended ceremony provided the Igbo community in Lagos opportunity to seek CHI UKWU's support in solving Igbo existential problems, seek Igbo unity and to share gifts with one another.

In a message sent to the occasion, the chief Nz'rabbi of Igbo house of Israel obi and the worldwide spiritual leader of the omenana restoration movement, Nz'rabbi Remy Ilona urged Igbo every where to support Igbo house of Israel obi every to continue to organize the event. He said that once the Igbo get religion right, every other thing will fall in place.
In a good will message by Ada Igbo gburugburu, Doris Chinwendu from her base in Europe, she commended the Igbo community in Lagos and the Igbo house of Israel obi Lagos for organizing the event. She urged them to continue to seek love, unity and progress of the Igbo. She also urged them to support Igbo women's campaign for Igbo to use only Efi-igbo for all Igbo social occasions.
In his own speech, the chief Nz'rabbi of Lagos, Nz'rabbi Okechukwu Ononaeke urged Igbo to desist from self-hate. He urged Igbo on social media to desist from comments on sensitive Igbo issues like osu with out adequate information. He reminded them that the osus lived holy lives in the service of CHI UKWU, that they provided services similar to what Catholic reverend fathers and Anglican ministers do today, that they were thus privileged people.
The occasion was climaxed by a lot of Igbo present indicating their readiness to return to CHI UKWU and his Omenana.
This type of occasion is one of those things that will take us back to CHI UKWU. We can't afford to ignore the direction of our CHI UKWU and think that we can get anything right.
