HOW HIGH IGBO EMIGRATION OUT OF ALA IGBO SHOWS UNCOMPETITIVENESS

It is a well known fact that a disproportionate percentage of Igbo reside outside Ala Igbo. Some Igbo are even proud of it. Some say: 'we are every where', 'we make the world 'tick''.
 Is it really a good thing to have a disproportionate percentage of Igbo outside Ala Igbo? What are the lessons from the first worlds? 
First, what is the percentage of Igbo outside Ala Igbo and how does it compare with first worlds? The population of Igbo ranges from 50-100 million ( including those with traceable Igbo ancestry ) depending on whom you are talking to. Out of this number, 30-70 million ( including those with traceable Igbo ancestry) again depending on whom you are talking to reside outside Ala Igbo, a disproportionate 60-70%. 
What are the comparative figures from the first words? America with a population of 300 million people have only 300,000( a percentage of 0.1%) of it's citizens living outside the USA. Japan, a country of 126 million people have only 3million( 2%) of it's citizens living outside Japan. Germany, a country of 83 million people have only 1.2 ( less than 1%) of its citizens living outside Germany.
A comparison of 60-70% of Igbo living outside Ala Igbo with 0.1%, 2%and less than 1% for USA, Japan and Germany respectively shows that Ala Igbo is globally uncompetitive with the first world in terms of emigration. 
Why is Ala Igbo globally uncompetitive with respect to emigration? A constellation of majorly two factors: imposition of anti- Igbo legislative frameworks by Igbo phobes after the 1967-1970 Igbo genocide to make the Ala Igbo economy inclement and secondly, Igbo idolatry which entrenches Igbo self- hate. With Igbo return to CHI UKWU and his Omenala, Igbo self hate will disappear while scaling up implementation of the Ala Igbo road map to a first world in a generation will compel the wholesale dumping of anti-Igbo legislative frameworks.
Thus, reversing Igbo migration out of Ala Igbo and trending it back to zero- hugging as in all first worlds is in the hands of the Igbo. What to do? Return to Omenala and all will be well with you and every Igbo.
